NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2023鈥擨n a move aimed at expanding its knowledge of important industry issues, the听听(Triple-I) today announced the appointment of four new Non-Resident Scholars (NRS).
听
鈥淔or听nearly five听years, the Triple-I has worked to create a collaborative, unified partnership between academia and 天美传媒 industry, providing opportunities and benefits for both听through our Non-Resident Scholars program,鈥 said Sean Kevelighan, CEO, Triple-I. 鈥淲e welcome the subject matter expertise and industry knowledge these four individuals bring to our organization. Their skills and experience will bring added value to the Triple-I鈥檚 member companies as we strengthen the Insurance Information Institute鈥檚 ability to focus on the core issues affecting insurers and policyholders.鈥

The newly appointed Non-Resident Scholars are:

Director - Insurance Management Program School of Professional Studies, Columbia University
听
Assistant Teaching Professor, Social Data Science, Arizona State University
听
American Family Insurance Distinguished Chair of Risk Management in the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
听
Provost Professor of Business Law and Ethics, Indiana University; Executive Director, Ostrom Workshop, Executive Director, Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research.

Like the Triple-I鈥檚 incumbent Non-Resident Scholars, the new appointees will be asked to:
听
听
鈥淭hese four new Non-Resident Scholars will provide in-depth expertise on critical issues shaping our industry. 听By doing so, they advance one of the Triple-I鈥檚 goals, which is to generate insights curated for different audiences, from the media to regulators,鈥 said Dr. Michel L茅onard, Chief Economist and Data Scientist, Triple-I, who oversees the NRS program. 鈥淭he Non-Resident Scholars are thought leaders in their respective fields, and we welcome them to our organization.鈥
