Triple-I: Insurance Village Opened Today in Southwest Florida

ST. JOHNS, Fla., Oct. 4, 2022—F±ô´Ç°ù¾±»å²¹â€™s (DFS) and today established an Insurance Village to assist Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, according to the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I).

Ìý

The Florida venue is at the following location:

  • Port Charlotte (Charlotte County): Port Charlotte Town Center Parking Lot, 1441 Tamiami Trail

Ìý

The site will remain open daily between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ÌýMore than 20 national and regional insurers are expected to send representatives to the Port Charlotte location for what DFS is billing as an Initial Payment Center.
